Wordz not flowing today. Bah. Distracted myself with the 'Bands I Have Seen' meme via swisstone and sneerpout, but got bored around the hundred mark. (Actually, more forgetful than bored. The early 90s are a bit of a blur, really. And I saw a lot of gigs at UEA.)

Self-challenge: 45K by the end of the evening. That's only (for values of 'only' extending to 'daily average >5000 for last 3 days) 3,500 words. Never mind the quality, feel the bulk!

Pilates with Free Books!

Yesterday after Pilates class*, I spent a happy few minutes rooting through a chaotic pile of discarded books -- usually for sale at 50p / £1 (proceeds to church funds), but free to good homes as the venue was running out of space. I picked up a couple of books that looked interesting, and a couple that looked ... hard to find. (There was also a lot of Jeffrey Archer. And a couple of brand new hardcover Clive Barkers.)

I am about to list one of the hard-to-finds on Amazon, at £5 or £10 under the £35 going price: I'm going to donate the (hypothetical and eventual) profit to the church.

I feel astonishingly virtuous.

*which is much less like a keep-fit class, and much more like a yoga class, than the one I used to go to in Redhill. Yay!
