The last few hours
Thursday, October 16th, 2008 07:48 amThanks to everyone for good wishes and reassurance: it really does help. Sorry not to respond to individual comments.
Shiva has had two fits since 6pm last night. They don't seem to be distressing her quite as much as the first couple did, but she is clearly not a well kitty. She's stopped throwing up, which is a relief, but I think it's because she's not really eating anything any more.
We sat outside for a while earlier and she was fascinated by the wind in the trees and the feathered food flitting around. But it was all a bit tiring for her and she fell off my lap.
She doesn't have as much personality as Sam had, but she's so sweet-natured and I'm going to miss her very much. And the flat will feel horribly empty when I come back from the vet's.
