Last-ditch shopping
Thursday, January 31st, 2008 03:47 pmI'm quitting shopping for the duration of February, so I had to pick up a few bits and pieces today. No, really:
- three warm jumpers (one from charity shop, one in sale, one *gasp* full price, but only Bon Marche full price). Unemployment means no more centrally-heated office and I genuinely prefer wearing warmer clothes than turning up the heating during the day. (Gas fire, in lounge, is lovely in the evenings but not good if I want to sit in bedroom writing. Bedroom has lovely light and is peaceful.)
- hair dye. Having had the split ends (from 7 days of swimming in chlorinated pool) trimmed out, I can now see some, er, faded bits.
- trolley token for use in lockers at pool. (Now I'll find the last one, which is around somewhere.) British Heart Foundation.
Sleeepy now. But *bounce* concert tonight!
