Am just loading photos to my fotopage: these are from my walk around the Pool of London last week, when the Prince William (tall ship, not HRH) was moored up against HMS Belfast.
Another really huge explosion, blue light etc. I sigh, and look out of the window for more of the display (or, more likely, kids letting off rockets over on the estate). Nope: lightning, rare on a cold wet windy night.
Have dozed in well-lit room since getting home (half-day) around 3pm. Still absolutely shattered.
Blood pressure monitor ordered on 'Buy Now!' (the stress of auction after auction this is a joke was doing me no good). Looking forward to doing Graphs, etc.
Wondering whether current fatigue will lift in time for me to write 50,000 words between 1st and 30th November -- not to mention all the uncountable (and often unaccountable) words I'll write on top of that, in emails / specs / manuals / monthly column / LJ ...
