Fireworks

Another really huge explosion, blue light etc. I sigh, and look out of the window for more of the display (or, more likely, kids letting off rockets over on the estate). Nope: lightning, rare on a cold wet windy night.

Have dozed in well-lit room since getting home (half-day) around 3pm. Still absolutely shattered.

Blood pressure monitor ordered on 'Buy Now!' (the stress of auction after auction this is a joke was doing me no good). Looking forward to doing Graphs, etc.

Wondering whether current fatigue will lift in time for me to write 50,000 words between 1st and 30th November -- not to mention all the uncountable (and often unaccountable) words I'll write on top of that, in emails / specs / manuals / monthly column / LJ ...

Oh, you'll love the 560X. It's much nicer to write on than to do l33t multimedia on ;-) We must arrange stuff. Yes.

(I may be able to get a new battery for it, cheaper than I thought. Will keep you posted.)

splendid news! And presumably it won't keep freezing like the poor old Siemens-Nixdorf Thing ...
Am away this weekend but any time pre-Nov 1 would be good!
