Let There Be Rock

The pros of a two-and-a-half hour set by the Drive By Truckers: two-and-a-half hours of excellent Southern country-tinged rock, with plenty of Jack Daniels. Real fire for what they're doing. Wonderfully rough edges and guitar solos that made ladymoonray splutter.

The cons: there is only so long Red Bull can keep me conscious. And the sound desk didn't need to turn everything up to 11. And I turned into a pumpkin while we were on the DLR.

Am also allergic to Bacardi Breezers, though this is no great loss.

Wave Goodbye to Pugwash!
