Twelfth Night
Monday, January 6th, 2003 06:23 pmIt's been a beautiful day.
* sunshine
* I will soon be working in the film industry two weeks' database tweaking for the marketing department of Paramount Pictures, reporting DVD/VHS sales and forecasts. Luckily, I saw a film once so am eminently qualified.
* Swimming in a steaming, underlit, turquoise-walled pool under a deep blue sky dotted with pale clouds. (There may have been ice on the plants around the pool).
* The lights in my carriage of the train failed. I was content to sit in the dark with my iPod (whatever happened to The Cars? My Best Friend's Girl is a classic) and watch London, lit up, go past. London Eye, Southwark Cathedral, Tate Modern: the Gherkin (peachy-white lights now, not the glorious green and blue they had over Christmas), St Paul's, Tower Bridge ... Pretty!
* It's a cold, clear night and the moon is a crescent and the stars are visible even from Lewisham.
