Books I'm Getting Rid Of (Fiction, A-G)
I'll be inviting Porcupine Books, or somebody, around to take away boxes-full: but if you want any of these, just say the word.
I'd love to give them away but, due to recent Tax Issues, could do with the cash : however, I'm asking very little -- £1 per book, down to 50p for especially manky or battered items. Paypal preferred; 'by hand' delivery ditto, but I'll post stuff if necessary.
Some are duplicates or proof copies, never read: some have been carted around through several moves.
Free gift with every five you choose! (Clue: it's a book.)

I know this is probably a terrible question, but what do you have as proofs?

Brust, Gibson, George. (A meaningless question, though, as quite a few publishers now send a paperback version of the actual hardcover text, instead of a floppy-covered uncorrected proof.)

I know - it's more that I was wondering if there was anything there for my collection of proofs and advanced reading copies...

I'd certainly be interested in the Brust and the George (I have the Gibson in ARC already!)

Shall set 'em aside for you ...

Could I have the Alasdair Gray and the Jeffrey Ford please?

Shall we wait and see if I want anything from H-Z before totting up what I owe you?

I'll set 'em aside for you. H-Z could be some time in coming -- it's a strangely time-consuming exercise. And then there's the non-fiction ...

wouldn't mind the eddison, just to save faffing about finding 'em all at once. won't be able to pick up for a month or so...

if no-one else can, i can also swap you a cream pb jonathan... for a cream hb.

Can happily set 'em aside for you! But let me know which dates you're around ...
JS&MN not out here in pb yet, but a Foreign copy would be lovely.

my copy of js&mn is a large trade pb, not a convenient small one... maybe this is no good to you?
unconfirmed dates: England 18 July--1 Aug, 28--30 Aug.

Happy it's going to a good home.

But if no one else wants the Holly Black I'd be even happier to swap it.

(and drat! Not a very successful disguise)

The Andrew Greig is on our shelves, waiting for me to find time to read it.

aha! Thought it was probably there (also Route 66 AD, I know: any others?) but wasn't 100% positive.

Think of it as a gradual transfer. Though we may have to speed up the rate.

Can I please have all the Storm Constantines? And I know this is a terrible liberty, but if there's anything else there you think I should read; could you put it aside for me? No worries if you can't be bothered, though.

yes re the Constantines, with the proviso that these are the ones I don't think are very good: the good stuff's going in your loft, though ...

Will have a quick check for anything you'd like, but to be honest many of the discards are books I'd find it hard to recommend. Have taken to heart your comment re not chucking favourites!

Good!

And don't worry if you can't recommend the discards; it just says you're doing the right thing! Will have the SC's anyway though :)
