CDs for Sale!

[personal profile] tamaranth
I'm clearing out a lot of my CDs.

Why?
a) I'm running out of space
b) I need the money
c) they're all ripped to MP3, and
d) I don't listen to them much any more.

Who?
Listed below are rejects from the 'popular' shelf. (Classical coming Real Soon Now.) The usual suspects have taken their pick but there's quite a lot left!

How Much?
CD singles £1, budget albums £2, normal albums £3, doubles £5. Magazine CDs free to good homes. I have not marked what's what (laziness) but you can probably guess; if not, please enquire. You can leave a comment, or email me (tamaranth at livejournal). Response will not be immediate ...

When?
I would prefer not to post these out, as it's tricky getting to a post office at the moment. If you are likely to see me at Eastercon / pub meets etc, you will get priority.

Ooh!

Both Creatures, Ministry, Best of the Jam and NMA Vengeance, please! See you on Wednesday?

From: [identity profile] tamaranth.livejournal.com
I don't know yet if I'll make it on Wednesday -- depends on Werk and stuff -- but if not, I can probably get them to you via K. I make it a tenner, and will put 'em in a bag for you now!

Date: Monday, March 21st, 2005 09:21 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] zoo-music-girl.livejournal.com
I hope you make it along, it would be nice to see you.

Are you sure it's only a tenner? I thought it would be more than that! Would you rather I gave the money to Kate or stuck it straight into your bank account? If you haven't changed your bank details I've still got it set up in my internet banking from the last time.

Date: Monday, March 21st, 2005 09:43 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] tamaranth.livejournal.com
no, it's 'cause I can't add up -- for some reason thought the Ministry one was a single! £13: we can sort out payment methods later, but straight to bank is fine if I do end up passing them via a (hopefully not inconvenienced!) third party ...
I would like to come out on Weds -- haven't seen people for ages -- but I'm already shattered and it's only Monday, and I have to be up at 6 on Thursday!

Can you face bringing them along tomorrow? If so, I'll get them to Fiona on Wednesday night.

I'd like the Pet Shop Boys Discography, can I get it off you at Eastercon?

FF.

Yep, will put it on the pile to be packed -- see you there!

Shonen knife, please? I'll be at Eastercon.

From: [identity profile] autopope.livejournal.com
Count me in for:

The Art of Noise (both disks)
Kate Bush (both disks)
Carter USM (four disks)
Shonen Knife (one disk)
Sigue Sigue Sputnik (one disk)
Throwing Muses (both disks)

... If you bring 'em along to Eastercon I'll cross your palm with silver (or £12, whichever is more useful to you).

Date: Monday, March 21st, 2005 09:20 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] autopope.livejournal.com
Whoops, misread the price. Replace £12 with "the appropriate amount".

(NB: yes, [livejournal.com profile] feorag, you'll get to rip the Shonen Knife CD. OK?)

Thanks!

so freee that it has flown away ... if I find it in time you can have it! (But the Leftfield's a double, to make up for it.)

You may have Depeche Mode, Moby, Sex Pistols and Shampoo. If you are going to fight with [livejournal.com profile] zoo_music_girl over the rest, I shall sell tickets.
Is it OK if I hold onto them until after Easter?

I wouldn't fight with Fiona - it would be rude and un-gentlemanly.

Not that I'm frightened or anything...

Can you put me down for:
- Apollo 440
- Blaggers ITA
- Chumbas/Credit
- Ramones
- Toyah
- Tripping Daisy

Is the NIN one the Head Like a Hole single? (the one with 10 versions of it or so?) And I'll probably be back after I've checked the tracklistings of the compilations ...

Date: Tuesday, March 22nd, 2005 11:10 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] tamaranth.livejournal.com
Have extracted and bundled CDs as per request.
NIN has 3 versions (slate, copper, opal mixes)
Will bring tomorrow if I can fit in bag ...

Can you put me down for the Chameleons Peel Sessions (I always remember the version of Second Skin being better than the "official" one) and Fatima Mansions. What's the Monochrome Set one like?

Date: Tuesday, March 22nd, 2005 11:11 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] tamaranth.livejournal.com
have extracted both those for you. Monochrome Set Live is ... quite fun. OK I suppose. Dead Cheap, go on you know you want to.
Eastercon? Or later?

I'll have the MS one as well then, how can I resist "OK I suppose" as sales patter. Eastercon would be fine and dandy.
