sick + miserable = stupid

I hate the way that being physically / emotionally low erodes my intelligence. Am feeling very ignorant, uncreative and uninterest(ing)/(ed) today.

The answer? I'm going to stop staring at the screen (whether full or empty), go and lie on the sofa, and read something frivolous.

Frivolous reading matter is good for the soul! My large stack of Maeve Binchy books has traumatised many poor souls who Thought Better Of Me, but there are times when summat soppy fits the bill. Wendy Holden gives good frivol also.
