Sarah & Sam's wedding

Went to a wedding at the weekend - two friends from the Swash'n'Buckle fencing club, Sarah and Sam.- Musical entertainment was provided by fellow fencer Andy Wood's string quintet (and Big Bad Bob's Boogie Band, later), and by Juliet Kelly, also an affiliate* of the Swash'n'Buckle ...It was splendid. They let me hold a foil again despite the fact I haven't fenced for over a year. Bright colours, gorgeous bride, elegant groom, luscious flowers, delicious cake ... Wine.

*Affiliate: one who has fenced, a long time ago.
