School bans tinsel: "could cause injury if pupils tried to strangle each other."

ETA: If I were planning to strangle anyone -- for example, a noisy colleague -- I would not use tinsel. I would use some of the spare co-ax cabling that is lurking underneath my desk.

And it's also imossible to strangle anyone wiht your hands, of course.

Next step; all pupils must wear no clothes, but instead be wrapped in cotton wool (not bubble wrap, as the noise of popping bubbles could cause heart attacks).
