Have spent a little while fiddling with my Friends list, after thoughts provoked by green_amber's recent post, and some thoughts of my own about why, how and when I use LiveJournal.

I hope no one will be offended when I reveal that my default view varies on an almost daily basis, and that I don't play catch-up ... so I may not be up-to-date with what you've posted. (I shall try to reciprocate by convincing myself that no one is reading this journal either!)
