This migraine is bigger than me: luridly striped in oscillating colours: and bloody smart (I decided, as I lay on the bathroom floor being mauled). It is not on schedule (migraine attacks had settled down into horrid-but-predictable 4-week cycle), and it ambushed me as I woke up, so that I didn't have a chance to ward it off with magickal pink Migraleve.

It eats time too.

Can't take any more painkillers until around 3pm, and they're not working anyway. I just have to wait it out. (Ignoring it is not an option).

It's bloody inconvenient. Especially today.
