I do actually have a copy of this somewhere ...

I'd blame Atelier for this, rather than the Tungsten; if an application vendor won't update their software to run on a new OS, then it is de-facto obsolete. Doesn't mean you have to like the fact, but Atelier haven't updated Sim City for years (I, too, have a registered copy).

I don't really blame either company (though isn't backwards compatability a Good Thing? I'd be up in arms if a software package didn't read files created in earlier versions). But it is one of the few games that I like playing, and I was kind of looking forward to seeing it in colour after finally removing it from the Visor -- where, to be realistic, it took up 20% of RAM and ate batteries like ... well, like something with a colour display!

My major concern now is to get the Visor running and synchronising without removing the T3. Then I can use pretty T3 for showing off photos, playing Solitaire in two colours, reading big books and (eventually) getting online in emergencies: and the Visor for writing, playing SimCity and anything that involves being away from the PC for more than a day.

There's a good chance this is of no interest, but I saw this and thought of you:

Ebuyer have loads of older Palm kit at vastly reduced prices on their
site.

Highlights, for me, are:

Palm IIIxe £34.97 (not bad for an 8mb machine)
M105 £35.61 incl. leather case and replacement flips.

If you're after a real bargain PDA, though, and don't need too many
features, then you can't really go wrong with a IIIe for £21.72.

I mean, I don't know what features these PDAs have exactly or what you lost with your Visor or whatever it was but I know you're not that happy with your current solution so thought it worth a mention. www.ebuyer.com, I think.
