Friday at last

Saw Savoy Opera's production of The Marriage of Figaro last night. Tragically undersold. They're closing down at the end of the current season, their first, instead of doing the promised Elisir d'Amore and La Belle Helene. The production isn't flawless (the set design, in particular, was minimalist in a way that didn't work) but I'd recommend it.

Cripplingly tired and low. Don't wanna go out and have fun (Friday or Saturday or Sunday: nothing personal to anyone). Need Want sunshine, rest, writing-time. Need paid employment. Yes, I'd better get a grip, hadn't I.

Doctor Vacuum prescribes two muscular young men to a) worship you, and b) feed you chocolates, whilst you lounge on silken cushions. Not sure where you can get this filled, though.
