"Thank you for visiting the Saxon Shore ...
Sunday, January 25th, 2004 08:22 pm... please call again."
The wondrous
ladymoonray took me to the beach at Whitstable this afternoon.
We did the usual things: picnic, paddling and poi. (No swimming as we did not have costumes with us). This was the first time I'd had a chance to play with my poi (a Christmas present) and it was remarkably painless -- though inelegant. Shall practice.
Why yes, it is January.

NB: 'The Saxon Shore' is a Wetherspoons pub in Herne Bay. The only place open on a Sunday afternoon, it also serves hot chocolate, latte and chips. But where is Carausias when you need him, hmm?
