A few, a very few, photos from the wedding of margotmetroland and drpete on Saturday. It was a lovely day, and I saw a number of people I really hadn't expected to see (including Andy WINOLJ, with whom I used to fence, and whose girlfriend Leah works with the bride). And of course a great many of the usual suspects. In the background there were several cricket matches ...

Fizz was fizzed, wine was quaffed, Twilight Golf was discussed, and I was abandoned on a bench. (As in 'left alone', not as in 'rampant misbehaviour'. Honest.)

Well I'm disappointed it wasn't the latter! There was a definite lack of bad behaviour.

I had forgotten you knew Andy. Leah is lovely, and always good to have a glass of wine with.

So very glad you could come and celebrate with us. It wouldn't have been right without you.

It was a lovely day -- I'm sorry I didn't get to spend more time with you and Mr Metroland :) but you were busy!

It was a very fine day in every respect not involving bloodsucking insects, and seeing you made it better yet; I'm glad you survived your benchrest :)
