Germ-ridden

Second day of lurgy. Thanks to fabulous friends (
bugshaw who brought me meds yesterday and made me coffee this morning:
ladymoonray who brought me chocolate and fizz and a kettle!) am comfortable, or as comfortable as is feasible with sandpapered sinuses, bones turned to rubber and lungs full of glue.
Having spent most of my working life feigning sickness at the drop of a hat (often on the basis of Mental Health Days) I am bad at being genuinely ill, and feel guilty about the prospect of taking a day off -- even though I'm hardly a vital or time-critical cog. (Even though sitting up is about the limit of my physical capabilities right now.)
Also, cannot concentrate enough to read a proper book or watch anything except the 'My Pictures' slideshow which is my current screensaver.
Also, my cat is shunning me, possibly for hogging his bed and making it lumpy and prone to movement.
But this is a comfortable room to be ill in, and I do have plenty to read ...
