Today's aggravations
Wednesday, October 8th, 2008 04:19 pmDear Freecyclees
I am giving you something for free. I am doing you a favour. Kindly don't mess me around by failing to show for pickup, emailing multiple times with questions I answered in the original post, or claiming to be 'desperate' for something and then failing to answer emails.
Grrr,
me.
Dear Lady In Post Office
I am very sorry it is so difficult for you to handle multiple parcels at 'lunchtime' (though as you are closed from 1 til 2, I presume you take your lunch a little later). Yes, there are more in the other bag. No, I will not come back tomorrow with the rest because tomorrow there will be more.
Get a Grip,
me
Dear Creative Zen
Please to be charging kthx

Dear Cleaning Company
It is ever so kind of you to eventually call me back after multiple phone messages. But please don't expect me to be surprised when you say you're not that busy at the moment -- if nobody can contact you, this would probably explain why you're going through a slack period.
But thank you for not raising an eyebrow as the cat vomitted on the rug in front of you.

Dear British Gas
Back in January I queried the amount of my monthly direct debit payment for electricity and was told it couldn't be reduced as it was based on the previous year's usage (when somebody else lived here).
So it is really not surprising that you now owe me lots of money, on which I could have been earning interest.
But it is surprising that you can't apply a small part of that sum to the 'outstanding gas bill' which is causing you such woe and trauma.
Yes, you will probably all starve because I am not paying that £24 until you pay me what you owe me.
Also, your on-hold phone system sucks: I do not want constant advertisements for your schemes, interrupted by maudlin Stylophone music, when I wait and wait and wait tocomplain raise these issues. I would rather listen to the radio, or beat my head against the wall cat.
No love at all,
me
Despite all of the above, I feel on top of things. But I really really do hate using the phone this much.
