Yay birthday!

woolymonkey) and piratey ice-cube tray and piratey handtowels and a slight hangover (thanks zoo_music_girl and childeric) and a stabbing pain in my right leg (thanks Shiva).
In shocking news, my sister has caught a clue, and instead of the usual differently-tasteful presents* she has sent me a Vue giftcard and a £5 note, the latter to be used for chocolate.
Outside it is sunny and pleasantly autumnal. Later, I shall go for a walk in the woods.
*regular readers may recall the Bronze Fairy o' Twee, the cat picture made with real fur, and a succession of clothes two sizes too big for me.
