Not only does the new branch of Ping-Pong (just outside the Festival Hall) do novel and delicious cocktails (this is basically bubble tea with alcohol), they have furniture that lends itself to novel and delicious photography, even with a cameraphone ...

That table does need constant polishing, but it's worth it.


EDIT: Have just impressed colleague (lactose-intolerant, wife has lupus-type syndrome) mightily by pointing him at the Ping Pong website with its allergy / food problem checklist.

I had better not have a wheat problem, though.

Arghh! I was about to say how wonderful, a friend of mine has wheat intolerance and it would be useful to be able to know which dishes she could eat ...

... and under Wheat Starch it says "All Dishes and Soy Sauce" ... doh!
