I have defeated Pilbo. I gave it a stern look, tore up the instructions and approached it as a 3D puzzle. Twenty minutes later, we were done.

Shiva is most impressed (she's rubbing her face against the nice 90° corner) but disappointed that she cannot fit into it.

My flatmate and I did a similar thing with an ikea tv stand that came without the book of destructions. Sure, we were left with one or two random bits at the end but it hasn't collapsed yet! (also, I am not sure if the bits we have left are meant to come with the table...)

You may have the bits that are shown in the destructions for Pilbo, but were not included and would be of no earthly use ...

did they include one wooden peg and a plastic ball-thing with a nail? because we couldn't figure out where they might have come in to play with our tv stand.
