On Airline Security
Friday, August 11th, 2006 08:16 pmOn 29th October I embark on a trip that includes four long-haul flights. (UK-US, US-NZ, NZ-HK, HK-UK). I can just about manage without music, though obviously I would much rather not have to. But the thought of those flights without a book to read -- without a bloody (note)book to write! -- is horrific.
On the other hand, I don't think they can (or will need to) keep up the current level of alert for two months.
And yes, I'm perfectly happy to take a single, clear, carrier bag on those flights. I'll just make sure I'm reading something really embarrassing.
