What I Like About Being Ill

I'm off work this week due to new-found habit of falling asleep randomly and feeling dizzy when I do anything. (Side-effects of new medication.) And I have spent most of my time lounging in bed with two purring cats and a variety of books.
Since Friday I have read:
Dead Air -- Iain Banks which had a Loathesome Protagonist and a bad ending
Rainbow Bridge -- Gwyneth Jones which I shall need to reread, as it made no sense, as my brain was fuzzing over
Double Whammy -- Carl Hiaasen when my brain was especially fuzzy and I couldn't follow complex Lit'rature
Moonfleet -- J. M. Falkner which was written for Victorian children, so was Easy
Slammerkin -- Emma Donahue which was surprisingly clear and simple prose, and a captivating story
and the introductions to several Restoration comedies.
Can't log 'em in LibraryThing, though, because it's broken. And have many many mini-reviews to write over on
tamaranthblog.
So! If you were worrying about me being ill, don't. Fresh books, hot cats and food to last a few more days ...
Music in honour of Doctor Who, not an especially captivating episode but not too bad, apart from the first 5 mins and the last 5 mins.
