Wow, you have some great photos, especially the one you've used in this post - I never thought of that angle for the roof inside the Sagrada Familia, I really wanted a photo of it but nothing I tried worked. Yours is perfect.
Thank you! So few people comment on photographs and that is the best compliment I've had on the actual photography, as opposed to the things I've pointed the camera at!
Sagrada Familia was amazing, I think I got through a whole set of camera batteries in there <g>
You'll have to go back and have another try -- isn't it the most stupendously interesting building ever?
To note (I only found this out much later), those spiral staircase in the Sagrada Familia are that way because they go up bell-towers. The bells were (are?) to be giant tubular bells, and hand-rails would mess up the acoustics (or something). Also, they're way cool.
I was going to say "Oh-oh -- vertigo!", until i realised that you were looking up rather than down. But we didn't have those light effects when we visited.
they're from the stained glass windows - they were putting the in the blue one the first time I went and it was complete except for the last panel. I want to see it finished but I love the feeling that the place is building around you.
