One picture = 1000 words
Monday, December 30th, 2002 05:02 pm... so, given that my PC is (how could I have forgotten?) not behaving and thus I can't get pictures off my camera now I'm home ...
1: Utah Park, Aurora, Colorado: 4pm local time, 29th December.
Sunshine, blue sky, me in shirtsleeves and sunglasses, grinning and lapping up the light.
2: Elverson Road DLR, London, UK: 4pm local time, 30th December.
Torrential rain, river nearly bursting its banks, ankle-deep puddles, orange streetlights. It is dark although sunset is not until later.
A drowned rat makes its way home, cursing an overful and thus very soggy mailbox.
And a PC that doesn't work properly.
And email that doesn't work (except via my LiveJournal email). (So if you have tried to email me via avnet, I haven't received anything since 15th December).
Am amusing and distracting myself by plotting an elaborate response to the first person who asks if I'm glad to be back ...!
