My body clock is clearly running on those dodgy batteries you get in the Pound Shop. To bed around 11pm last night, shattered, after a day largely spent travelling (17 hours start to finish, average speed thus 300 mph: and some of that was on the DLR).

Woke bright and early. Very bright. Hmm, strange bright light. Dawn already? ... No, it was the moon, through snowy pines. Dozed for a couple of hours until pink peaks in the distance heralded dawn. This is when the sun comes up. (For those of you in Britain: a strange bright light in the sky. A.k.a. 'nassssty yellow eye'). Clear blue sky, a few high clouds, snow (antique snow, since none actually fell up here in the mountains: but still, very decorative).

Sitting here waiting for a download to finish (forgot Wordsmith, which ports documents from Visor to PC): I'm watching wildlife (chipmunks, I think) cavorting in the snow, and I have Winamp pointing at mine host's rock/pop playlist (13619 tracks, randomised). Also downloading pics from the two flashcards in my camera, to clear the way for all the blurry pictures of snow, mountains and furry things (there are two indoors as well) that I intend to take.

Going to frolic in the sunshine. Go me.

Aargh: too late, credibility of music just dropped to zero ...

Lemmy is probably channeling a frolicing chipmunk.
