Eleven Books and Change from a Tenner
Tuesday, April 19th, 2011 03:46 pmI've been complaining recently that a lot of the Kindle ebooks I'd like to acquire are more expensive than paper editions. Amazon must've been listening, because they are having a promotion on some excellent titles: see below. I've read most of these and would recommend them -- in some cases I'm buying the ebook* just to have a handy searchable copy of an old favourite. (And you don't need a Kindle, there's PC software for free).
While I'm on the subject of Kindle-reading, SendToReader makes me very happy: one click and any web page (news article, LJ post, wikipedia entry, song lyric, review) is stripped down and emailed to my Kindle, for free. (Make sure to specify the 'free' version of the email address).

anef for booking storage space with Megastorage and thereby winning me a £25 Amazon voucher for recommending her!
