Project at the Royal College of Art's summer graduate show called the menstruation machine: designed for men, attaches at the hip, has electrodes to cause abdominal pain, and slowly drips blood from a reservoir. (via BoingBoing).

Am in London this w/e but Cambridge people might be interested in Wandlebury Archaeology Festival tomorrow.

In other news, was greeted this morning by Blue Screen of Death: physical disk crash on laptop. Restart in safe mode seems to have fixed it for now, but am backing up everything and panicking slightly.
