The week that was, the week that is

Last week was stupidly hectic (or vice versa):
- Tonbridge on Sunday to see ladymoonray and swisstone, and book next holiday
- mundane catch-ups on Monday
- Moon on Tuesday (also attempt to get new mobile, and failure to avoid a small accident in Waterstones)
- chez la_marquise_de_ on Wednesday, for Desperate Romantics: The Drinking Game ... later, out to the wilds of Cambridgeshire for a retirement party hosted by Inspire, a charity for whom I do some work. (The band was fab!)
- Harry Potter and the Remixed Version of Book Six on Thursday with woolymonkey and brood.
- sushi with la_marquise_de_ and desperance on Friday, V-Movie in the evening
- Constitution Saturday and Sunday, with more people than I shook a pointy stick at: it was fab (apart from having my bike nicked when I left it at New Hall overnight) and will be Writ Up.

This week:
- August is Buy Nothing Month (food, drink, meals out, event admission are excluded, as are essentials: this is a month where nothing superfluous will join the clutter.)
- today I have errands and GP ("can has drugs for pre-dentist? Oh, and btw Other Thing still really hurts") and reporting bike theft and sorting new mobile and and and
- tomorrow my sickly car will be fixed, while I languish with Horus and Moon and Ish. Later: dinner in London.
- if I don't get to the beach soon I shall combust.
- maybe beach is what will fix my sleep cycle, comprehensively b0rked.
