It has rained every day since I got back from New Zealand -- this afternoon's torrential shower, though, was rather pleasant, being extreme, brief and sunlit, and producing a pretty rainbow. (Are rainbows over flat terrain less curved? Why (not)?).
Right now the sky is a glorious dark blue, with pink-edged clouds. (I'd sit out on the balcony, but then I'd be staring at the huge black cloud off to the south).
Jefferson Starship have cancelled their UK dates, which is actually rather a relief as I wasn't convinced about the Cambridge Rock Festival.
Nice landlady bought me pink fizz! (sadly, my daily back-in-northern-hemisphere headache precludes sampling it just now).
My car is not very well. My cat, however, is vast and mighty and loves me very much.
Re normal service, please be patient!
