1. the 'noise' my brain makes when, realising that it is failing to remember things as efficiently as it once did, it compensates with frequent reminders of every outstanding task it does remember.
2. the mental equivalent of the noise made by a large flock of starlings.

3. the state of using most of one's available mental resources to keep track of trivia, ephemera and tasks that can be more easily tracked by writing them down.
