- curse CD (non)burner
- hotswitch one working keyboard between two PCs
- race to Post Office (last non-Saturday opportunity before Christmas)
- onset of vile cold at 11pm (despite zinc, echinacea, vitamin C regime of last five days)

7th December
- marvel at Dark
- marvel at Dawn (pretty!)
- celebrate chewy drugs (zinc, echinacea, calcium) and Beechams Max Strength
- reach Paid Employment in good time
- left with long to-do list and trusted to do it. (Progress good)
- number of familiar apps on new PC: 1 (Firefox)
- ratio of working keyboards to PCs -- 1:1
