On Frienditto
Saturday, March 5th, 2005 12:51 pmOutline of issue here. (Basically, if there are unscrupulous types on your Friends list, your Friends-locked posts may be available elsewhere without your knowing about it.)
Luckily, their TOS includes the clause 'You must be over 18 to use this site', which rules out the majority of LJ users.
I have to confess, too, to being vastly amused by a company whose 'violations and grievances' email address is legalthreats@frienditto.com, and who state "any information sent to this email address other than legal threats will be ignored." (Except, of course, that they reserve the right to publish it wherever they like.) Perhaps someone could explain the difference between 'grievance' and 'threat'? Or, no, don't bother.
