MBNA mess up again
Saturday, October 30th, 2004 01:24 pmLast month I had to spend an hour on the phone to MBNA because they'd charged me interest on my interest-free credit card balance transfer. Furthermore, the interest charged had taken me over my limit, thus incurring a £25 fine.
I was able to explain to them that this was Wrong, and they refunded the fine and zeroised the interest rate.
I have just spent an hour on the phone to MBNA because, as I had exceeded my limit, they had withdrawn the interest-free agreement and were charging me at a more lucrative (for them) rate.
I have made them (well, actually only the final one of Them, in a long chain of forwarded calls and horrid hold music) understand that this is Wrong, and that if they do it again I will write to the Ombudsman and then they will be Sorry.
For heaven's sake ...
Out to enjoy sunshine and recover Bounce. What a lovely day!
