Has anyone else experienced data corruption in Memo fields in Access (pref Access 97) databases? If so, any hints or tips for making it stop? (Yes, I have already considered making it non-Memo, but this would inconvenience the poor li'l users.)

I have had my suspicions about this problem but it's not something I've encountered before: mind you, QualityTatPurveyor has a very peculiar setup.

Just went for a walk in the rain to clear my head. The River Ravensbourne, rain-swollen, runs through our local park -- a nature reserve with natural mud banks, rosebay willow-herb, bullrushes, graffiti, muggers and other traditional wetland features -- at, today, a fast walking pace. I love running water (and cross it without any difficulty, thank you) even when it's urban river water, and thus embellished with plastic bottles, Coke cans, substantial chunks of wood, garden rubbish and the like.

Today there was a skateboard floating along, wheels down.

And on it stood a seagull, glaring indignantly at the blue plastic bottle that was overtaking it.
