In praise of forward planning
Tuesday, July 9th, 2002 06:26 amIt is not even 6:30am and I am doing the dance of Should-I-Shouldn't-I re seeing Siouxsie & the Banshees tonight in Shepherd's Bush.
Pros: one of my favourite bands since practically forever. Don't get out to gigs much any more. It will be Fun.
Cons: have to go on my own (though am likely to bump into many of the usual suspects). Have to get act together. Ankle likely to give way with hilarious consequences should I make like a young person and bounce around. Could just come home at 6 and go straight to bed like yesterday. And probably like tomorrow. (Without notable impact on narcoleptic state).
At least I know what I'll be doing at work today. Dithering.
