If I wanted to have all my gold jewellery (minus stones) melted down into one solid lump, how would I go about it?

a proper jewellers should be able to do it (avoid H Samules and the ilk) other wise try round Hatton Gardens.

jewelry is almost always worth more than lumps of gold, especially as the finished products always have many impurities that are unwanted.
