Where is the bloody thunderstorm we were promised, eh? Eh?

Someone do a rain dance. Mine didn't work. And I don't have energy to start mowing the lawn ...

(For clarification, I spent most of day on beach which was ACE, cool breeze and water to cool me down. Muggy grey oppressive Cambridge not so good.)

not so much 'passing over' as 'circling back for another go' ... lightning has been close, retreated, now back almost simultaneous with thunder.

Also that one nearly gave me a heart attack, SO LOUD: something close-ish may have been struck ...
