Dinner with sbisson and marypcb: delicious and innovative food, but I realised too late that my seat was aligned with junction of Cherry Hinton Rd and that oncoming headlights had triggered visual disturbance and brought back the migraine I'd spent the afternoon fending off. Alimentum's retro decor - big on mirrors, asymmetry, parallel lines - produced some fascinating SFX... Food and wine (not to mention company) so very pleasing that the evening balanced out! A hefty post-prandial dose of Migraleve averted the worst of the migraine, though I still feel as if I've overexercised every muscle group.

It's a good restaurant, but not the most comfortable, we find. Hope you recover soon and see you and B tomorrow.

the booth was probably the most comfy seat in the house, but we put T in the middle for easy access from both sides ;-)

Am jealous... I love Alimentum and could be found in there rather too often while I was living in the stupidly flashy building just across the side road from them last year.
