I'm starting to settle.

ozymandias_cat weighs 6.66kg. Vet say he should be around 6kg. My arms say he could do with losing a bit more than that.
GP immediately after V-E-T. Her eyes lingered on the fresh blood adorning my t-shirt until I explained that cat + catbasket = miniature, sabre-clawed, very bad-tempered kraken. Prescription sorted, registration complete.
Swam in proper 25m pool this evening, 500m, feeling much better for it.
Nanowrimo wordz coming somewhat more smoothly, though wordcount still under target: 16.5K. Aiming to hit 25K by end of weekend.
Pilates tomorrow. Possibly also introduction ofozymandias_cat to the Great Outdoors. Local residents ye be warned.
