I suspect that, in between packing, packing and yet more packing, there will have to be much blandishing of cats. Teasle went completely scaredy-cat when I moved to this flat and wouldn't come out from Behind Things for the best part of a week - except for pees, poos and fud.
Hmmm. I refuse to set up an LJ for my 2; partly 'cos I'm really not sure about the whole 'non-person lj' thing, but mostly 'cos it would be Dead Boring. An example:
Saturday Cassie: ....... Lex: Lights still out. Nothing to see here (literally)
Sunday: Cassie: ....... Lex: Fell off TV. Lights still out.
Monday Cassie ....... ? ........ Lex: Ran into wall. Will whoever switched the bloody lights out put them back on, I've been in the dark for months!
ok, the whole lights out=blind thing might be a) obscure b) a bit cruel. But how would a blind cat perceive/describe blindness? And why am I even thinking about this?
My cats (and indeed yours) have more personality than several bipedal humanoid LJers I could name!
But mine are only getting one now 'cause (a) they have Big Changes coming up (b) in the extremely unlikely event of Zoe (age 11) going mad without 'em, she will be able to Look (c) Pippin's got one, and they can have fights.
... especially as I can't find the sparrow from the last dinner party ... there's a dead crow in the corpse copse outside werk. Do you think I should post it to him?
Didn't sushidog experiment with mail a while back? Bread rolls etc?I don't see why they would object to a wholesome dead crow, as long as I got the postage right.
