ladymoonray has been a Bad Influence again, and I went to Tenebrae (Gothy London nightclub monthly thang) last night.
For some time I've been telling myself (and more importantly telling the Devil's minion) that I'll go to Tenebrae. This time I ran out of excuses: and despite the glorious snow (now inglorious slush) we (self, Daughter of Darkness andzoo_music_girl) got there early enough to sit and chat. Music: Chameleons, Sisters, Siouxsie, Bauhaus ... I met lots of interesting new Goths people, and had typical nightclub conversations about fencing (jhaelan), bus routes (mircea, shooting people (latexiron), glitter (lproven and the fate of the Romano-British population after the legions withdrew(childeric).
When we left it was snowing. And on the way homezoo_music_girl and I debated Philip Pullman: perfidious or what?

This morning I rose hideously early, being as how the deadline for nominations for the British Science Fiction Association Awards expired at midnight. We have shortlists.
Am still fighting with stupid missing images which are not missing. Suspect I have fallen foul of (a) Avnet's auto-archiving of older items, and (b) a switch to case-sensitivity. I can't get at directory /images (lowercase 'i') and changes to filenames in directory /Images (uppercase 'i') don't affect the site. Any advice?
