The daffodils are out in Pontsmill: they're still tight-furled in Sussex. The silver marker-pen on my father's gravestone has lasted the winter, too. And rabbits have been nibbling on the sprouting bulbs. It's all very Natural.
There are some at the lab and some next to Gatwick Airport, so daffodils are at least out and about around the North Downs. I haven't seen any around my house yet, but I didn't look too hard yesterday.
