iPod Spares

anyone want a broken iPod for anything?

I can get it into disk mode about one try in 10, but the PC won't connect to it, so there is no way of updating anything. And tbh from the noise it's making, it doesn't seem likely to recover.

I am running out of gadgets that can break or go wrong.

There's one on Oxford Street, but plan to get there early (they open at 10am) if you wantg anything done rapidly at the 'Genius Bar'.

I am wary of taking it in, given that it's been interfered with (battery replaced). Suspect they will simply refuse to help.
