One thing about high blood pressure

it makes blood tests ever so much easier. And quicker. And less painful. Maybe I am not as much of a coward as I'd thought, if this is what normal people experience without complaint.

Apparently I do have a heart after all: I'm sure the cardiologist would've said something, otherwise.

Makes blood tests easier - I presume because instead of having to draw the blood, it leaps at them like some sort of geyser.

Of course you have a heart, darling. It's been broken on occasion, but it still carries on. There's a lesson there somewhere...

I cried all through my blood test - before and after - and they had to lie me down. My ears filled up with water.

Im the biggest wuss.

Sounds like a phobia - and there's no shame in that.

Mine are usually awful -- I've been dreading this one since it was arranged -- but it was quick and painless and they found the vein immediately and it produced buckets'-worth of blood. No bruising afterwards either. Must be high BP, can't think what else would make such a difference!

They took ages to find a vein - chubby arms and all.
That was the worst, just waiting for it. Plus I couldnt hear the nurse cos my ears were full.

My friend had to go with me.

She sat outside.

She had to drive me.

Im pathetic.
