Back from a week by the (cold) sea ... highlights included paddling on Christmas Day, a couple of rather <i>elemental</i> walks, <a href="http://www.livejournal.com/~ladymoonray">splendid</a> <a href"http://www.livejournal.com/~swisstone">company</a>, daft stocking-fillers, lots and lots of <font color=#FF66CC><b>pink drink</b></font>, cats, bats and poi.

What I came home to:
- one mouse, deceased, and no sign of more.
- family presents, with which my family prove annually that they (a) are not related to me and (b) never listen to anything I say.
- two weeks' laundry
- dental bills for my father
- more Christmas cards than before (some, I suspect, are still in the post)
- something uncomfortably like a cold. Despite which I must get up and go out ...
