I went out into the garden and called My Cat. And My Cat turned up within five minutes. Bwa ha ha ha ha.
Of course, the best way, if you have 2 cats, to get a specific one to come to you is to call the other one by name. For some reason, if you call a cat it assumes you wish to do it Harm (medicine, vet, etc), whereas if you call the other cat you are obviously going to offer it Treats.
Example: me attempting to get Lex to make an appearance to administer her eyedrops - Me: "Lex" Cassie: "Mooo*!" (comes trotting up to see me) Me: "Hello Cassie. Lex!" Cassie: "Moooo!" (paws at leg) Me: "No, you're Cassie. LEX!!" Cassie: "MOOOOOOO!" (reaches up with both paws and claws at my knee) Me: "No, you're still Cassie. Oh FFS - Lex, get out from behind the sofa..!"
