Positive Things for Friday

better late than never?

1. book-shopping (now a rare treat!) at Gatwick North Terminal
2. being reassured that failing to hit deadline, partly due to factors beyond my control, wasn't a problem.
3. no travel sickness on plane to Plymouth -- lucky, as I'd forgotten to buy more pills!

Positive Things for Saturday

1. Walking on Par beach in hazy sunshine
2. Discovering that every one of my symptoms is something that sister had first, due either to blood pressure problems or the menopause.*
3. Finding myself unmoved at grave-sight.

*I know this doesn't sound like especially good news -- especially with the corollary that I might end up like her! -- but it's reassuring to know that I'm reacting just like my closest living relative.
